God
God made mankind in his image. He gave us the precious gift of a soul and the knowledge to live life with love, joy and brotherhood by using the right intent behind our actions and to know He is always with us. His purpose was for us to seek him—though He is never far away from us—for we are His children. He has given us His host of Angels to help us through this thing called "life." He is our Father in Heaven, Father of all the universe, and He sent His Son so we might have eternity with Him. He sees all religions as good as long as they have Him in their hearts. God leads us with His compassion and His grace. He wants us to know that loving ourselves and others is the simple answer to happiness and harmony in our beautiful world.But yes, we are mankind with free will and we have gotten off track many times. I have been asked, "Susan, do you believe there is a devil?" Yes, I do. He is the one that puts greed, anger, insecurity, jealousy and loneliness in our lives. He invented temptation so that we might be apart from our creator God. As the story goes, he was one of God's chosen Angels that refused to serve God, for he would not bow down to God's handiwork—men. So he was cast out of heaven and he continues to try to pull us away from our loving Father. The truth, the way and the light is to know our God loves us and is always a step away if only we should ask with faith. We do receive, and His love is unconditional. He wants us to practice That Golden Rule: To do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Humans are so complicated, and yet, we are at our best when things are at their worst. We shall continue on in faith.
Spirituality
I have been asked many times how I became a fortune teller. In fact, I have fought with this all my life and prayed for God to take this cup away from me. However, I have found that, yes, I would have preferred to become a counselor, but the truth again is God puts us where we are needed and not so much where we want to be. I choose to call myself a Spiritual Intuitive for I believe our first gut instinct is usually God talking to us. Over the years, my clients have been the rich and the poor, the politicians, the clergy, corporations, and the regular people like me and you that have problems in their every day life.My job is to show them their path of empowerment so they may find that spirit within themselves that shows them they are very important to this universe and that God loves them. We cannot change another person, but we can look at what has given them their fears and nuture the child in them so they can see their worthiness. No one likes rejection, and I have found sometimes it's none of our business what any body else thinks. As long as we know we do things with love, honesty and faith in God, we are A-OK. God has given me the gift of being intuitive and He won't allow me to turn away from helping someone if I can. I wish I could give this away as a gift as I have done to police departments and others when needed. God has given us a mind which is a mighty thing, and along with our soul, He has given us a consciousness. Between the two we can find peace, love and tranquility by serving our neighbor in whatever talent is given to us.
God's spirit is in every thing on this earth. He wants us to be in good spirit and faith. We can see Him in a sunset, hear Him in our laughter, and feel His presence as the wind whips up the beautiful leaves. But the best way to feel His spirit is to hold hands and feel the presence of the love He wants us to all have for all His children. He wants us to sing to Him like the Angels with harmony on this beautiful earth. We have been given a lot no matter what situations we find ourselves in, so live in the moment and show gratitude for this thing called now and the promise of being one with God someday.
1 Corinthians 12 — Spiritual Gifts
1And now, dear brothers and sisters, I will write about the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings about them. 2You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshipping speechless idols. 3So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
4Now there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all. 5There are different kinds of service in the church, but it is the same Lord we are serving. 6There are different ways God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work through all of us. 7God manifests the Spirit through each person for the good of the entire church.
8To one person the Spirit gives a word of special wisdom; to another he gives the gift of special knowledge. 9The spirit gives special faith to another, and to someone else he gives the power to heal the sick. 10He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and to another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to distinguish between spirits. Still another person is given the ability to speak in different kinds of tongues, and another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. 11It is the same and only Holy Spirit who distributes the gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.
